Privacy Policy

Virtual Band Room is run by Rob Parker. This is the short, honest version of how your data is handled.

The free tools don't collect anything.

You can build seating charts and lesson boards without an account. That work is saved on your own device and to files you download. It never touches our servers.

If you make an account.

We store your email address (to sign you in) and the charts and boards you choose to save to the cloud. That's it. We use a one-time code emailed to you instead of a password.

Student information.

There are no student accounts, ever — only the adult who signs up. If you type student names onto a chart, they are treated as your private content: never shared, never made public, never sold. You can leave names off entirely and use numbers instead. You own your data and can delete it any time.

Payments.

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

We don't sell your data.

We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We use a small number of service providers (hosting, database, email, payments) only to run the service.

Deleting your account.

Delete your account from your account page and everything — your email and all saved charts and boards — is permanently removed.
