Terms of Service

Virtual Band Room is a set of tools for music teachers, run by Rob Parker. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Using the tools.

The free tools are free to use for their intended purpose. A paid Band Room Member account adds cloud saving and other features. You're responsible for the content you create and save.

Your content is yours.

The charts and boards you create belong to you. We don't claim ownership. You give us only the permission needed to store and display your content back to you (and to anyone you share a link with).

Payment.

Membership is $5/month or $50/year, billed through Stripe. You can cancel any time from your account; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. If a payment fails, you keep access for a short grace period before the account returns to the free tier. Your saved work is never deleted when you downgrade — you can still open and export it.

Fair use.

Don't abuse the service, break the law with it, or try to disrupt it for others. We may suspend accounts that do.

No warranty.

The service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it running and correct, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Keep a downloaded copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

Changes.

We may update these terms or the service. If a change is significant, we'll note it. Continuing to use the service means you accept the current terms.

Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA.
